Q: I showed up at 8:30 but people were still eating food and having conversation. Was I early?
A: No. The first 10-15 minutes of our worship are for informal gathering time. God has called us to be in community with each other, so taking time to fellowship is a worshipful act for us.

Q: Do I have to be a member to take part in Communion?
A: No. The United Methodist Church practices open Communion. Anybody who wishes to receive the sacrament and the gift it symbolizes is welcome.

Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Yes! We have a nursery available for babies through 3 year-olds. Children older than that are welcome to attend worship with their parents.

Q: Do I have to dress up?
A: No. The Gathering is informal. Come as you are.

Q: I'm not really sure what I believe about God. Am I still welcome?
A: Yes! None of us has all the answers, so we're all learning and growing in our faith together. At The Gathering we don't tell you what you should believe. We invite you to join in the conversation and share in the journey with us.
